Wahkiakum County Assessor
The Assessor's primary duty is
determining the value of all taxable real and personal property within the
county for the purpose of equitable distribution of the tax liabilities of property
owners within the various districts.
State law requires the assessor to appraise the value of real property at least once every four years. Any
taxpayer who disagrees with the value determined by the assessor has the right to appeal to the County
Board of Equalization.
