Cowlitz-wahkiakum health smiles children's oral health coalition

The Cowlitz-Wahkiakum Healthy Smiles Children's Oral Health Coalition is a collaborative effort sponsored by Wahkiakum County Health & Human Services and Cowlitz County Health Department. Funding is provided by the Washington Department of Health. The mission is to work collaboratively with Community Health Partners (CHP) and all other agencies who serve low income children in the region in order to assure and promote good oral health for children. The purpose of the Healthy Smiles Children's Oral Health Coalition is to:

• Improve Access to dental care for children
• Enhance communication between CHP, individual agencies, and the dental community.
• Develop strategies to enhance the oral health of children in the region
