ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH SPECIALIST

Enjoy a part-time (89.5 hours/ month) permanent postion as an Environmental Health Specialist in a small rural county. Must be able to implement all environmental health programs including food safety, drinking water, on-site sewage, water recreational facilities, solid waste enforcement, public health assessment, and public health emergency preparedness.

Requires minimum of undergraduate degree in public health, environmental health, or equivalent. Must be a registered sanitarian or environmental health specialist. Must have met educational requirements necessary to become a certified on-site sewage inspector or designer.
