One of Public Health's most important functions is measuring the health of the community. Wahkiakum County's Health Assessment and Evaluation Team does this important work by:

• Examining key health indicators
• Collecting and analyzing data
• Monitoring trends
• Reporting information to the community and policymakers

The Health Assessment and Evaluation Team provides technical assistance to staff who work in public health as well as to community organizations and partner agencies. Our goal is to help assure that we know what's happening in Wahkiakum County, what it means, and what we can do about it.
