Sheriff’s Message As Sheriff I find it a great privilege and an honor to serve the citizens of Wahkiakum County. The men and women who work in our office and dozens of volunteers take pride in serving our community with integrity and respect. By partnering with the community and businesses we can continue to keep our county safe and secure and a place where a quality of life is the norm not the exception. We are sworn to uphold the laws of Washington State and Wahkiakum County, and we take an oath to protect the rights of our people as spelled out in our State Constitution and the Constitution of the United States of America. The Sheriff’s Office strives to serve our community with professionalism and dignity with the knowledge that those we serve include our own family, friends, and partners who live and work in this beautiful county.
