2022 Cascade Pacific Regional Youth Focused Group Project

The Cascade Pacific Region is looking for youth voice in a new project.  The Cascade Pacific Region consists of Mason, Lewis, Thurston, Cowlitz, Grays Harbor and last but not least, Wahkiakum. We believe hearing from our youth is key in being able to build prevention education and programming that is relevant to the youth in this region. We are needing youth 13-20 years old who are willing to volunteer to participate in a youth focused discussion led by a youth engagement specialist, Adam Fletcher We do not seek to use these focus groups in any official, research capacity. We will not collect personal identifying information of any kind. This information will be used as a guide to create more relevant prevention education and activities over the coming year for 2022-2023.

In Wahkiakum, we are looking for at least 5 youth who would be willing to participate. Those under 18 will need a permission slip signed by a parent or guardian.  Participants in this group will receive a $50 gift card.  We are hoping to have this group meet in person at the Hope Center with snacks or dinner provided at the end of May.  Date to be determined.
