Wahkiakum County Health and Human Services offer Individual Supported Employment Services for Adult clients of Developmental Disability Administration.
Individual Supported employment services are a part of an individual’s pathway to employment and are tailored to individual needs, interest, and abilities to promote career development. These are individualized services necessary to help persons with developmental disabilities obtain and continue integrated employment at or above the state’s minimum wage in the general workforce. In order to receive these services, individual must be assessed eligible through DDA and have obtained a service authorization.

DSHS Eligibility
Once assessed eligible, Individuals will be first referred to Department of Vocational Rehabilitation but can request local support by the county after that step has been completed.
