The goal of the Coastal Marine Resource Committee (MRC) Program is to understand, steward, and restore the marine and estuarine ecological processes of the Washington coast in support of ecosystem health, sustainable marine resource-based livelihoods, cultural integrity, and coastal communities.
The Wahkiakum County Noxious Weed Control Board is composed of 5 voting members, one from each of the 5 Weed Control Districts established pursuant to RCWC 1705.030.
The Wahkiakum County Planning Commission is composed of nine members who are appointed by the chairman of the Board of Wahkiakum County Commissioners with the approval of a majority of the board.
