The Weed Control Office is located in the WSU Extension Office, located in the River Street Building, at 25 River Street, Suite E, in Cathlamet. The office is open by appointment only.

Weed Control Board Members
The Wahkiakum County Noxious Weed Control Board is composed of 5 voting members, one from each of the 5 Weed Control Districts established pursuant to RCWC 1705.030. At least four of such voting members shall be engaged in the primary production of agricultural products. In addition, the County Extension Agent serves on the Board as a non-voting member.

Vacancies - Weed Control Board
Wahkiakum County Noxious Weed Control Board is seeking applicants interested in serving on the county’s Noxious Weed Control Board for the following Districts:
Weed District No. 1, Deep River area
Appointments will be conducted according to R.C.W. 17.10.050
This is a volunteer 4- year position which is appointed by the Board of County Commissioners that oversees the Noxious Weed Control Program.
